Délın̨ę Got’ın̨ ę Government (DGG) to announce new selected Délın̨ę Ɂǫhda K’áowǝ Kǝ (DAKK) Representative
As per the Amended Government Organization Act Division 3 – Délın̨ ę Ɂǫhda K’áowǝ Kǝ (DAKK)
section 27. sub-section 2, the DAKK shall strive to reach a consensus in choosing the Ɂǫhda
representative but where consensus cannot be achieved, the representative may be chosen by
a vote where he or she receives a majority for the support of those Ɂǫhda present for the vote.
On October 12, 2023, the Chief Executive Officer arranged a DAKK regular meeting to exercise
the DAKK authority to choose its DAKK Representative. Through a unanimous vote, the DAKK
chose Marion Vital – Mackeinzo as its DAKK representative to sit as a voting member for the
term of the Délın̨ ę K’aowǝdó Kǝ (DKK).
On October 19, 2023, the DKK at their regular convened meeting had a swearing in ceremony
for Marion Vital – Mackeinzo to take the Oath of Office and attend her first DKK Meeting as a
the DAKK representative on the DKK.
