Délı̨nę Got’ı̨nę Government (DGG) to provide and implement Strategic Directions in to the DGG Departments and Entities.

As per Délı̨nę Got’ı̨nę Government (DGG) Governance Policy – GV004: Strategic Plan, the Délı̨nę K’aowǝdó Kǝ (DKK) will develop a strategic plan that will be reviewed at regular intervals and updated every 3-5 years. The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to inform the Annual Budget and Multi-year Financial Plan processes.
To this effect, the DKK supported the Chief Operations Officer (COO) to develop and execute a strategic planning process, in close consultation with the DKK and Directors. After undergoing this process, the Délı̨nę Got’ı̨nę Government developed a finalized strategic plan laying out a course of action for the next 3-5 years, adhering to the following guiding principles:

•External Recognition

•People First

•Dene Wah

On October 19, 2023, the DKK endorsed the Strategic Direction 2023 (Strategic Plan). The COO will now initiate the implementation of the Strategic Priorities and Operational initiatives within the DGG departments to ensure that priorities are met through the development and implementation of each department’s Action Plans.
A summarized version of the Strategic Direction 2023 is available for review. The comprehensive Plan will be available in the near future.
