Délı̨nę Got’ı̨nę Government (DGG) to give notice of 2023 Capital Payout Distribution to Délı̨nę̨ Beneficiaries.

Thursday, December 7, 2023: The Sahtu Secretariat Incorporated Trustee (the “trustee”) of the Sahtu Trust agreed and approved an advance distribution of $1,167,430.00 (one-million one hundred and sixty-seven thousand four hundred and thirty dollars) to the Délı̨nę Got’ı̨nę Government (“Institutional beneficiary) to advise SSI on their intentions.

The Dene Gha Gok’ǝ Réhkw’I met on December 05, 2023, and recommended the distribution of $1,000.00 (one-thousands dollars) to each Délı̨nę̨ Beneficiary. 

The Délı̨nę K’aowǝdó Kǝ approve a distribution to individual beneficiaries in the amount of $1,000.00 (one-thousand dollars) for December 18, 2023.

The following guidelines have been established to ensure that all forms are submitted and manage with accuracy. Please see below details as follows:

DELINE BENEFICIARIES: The Capital Payout Distribution Forms are available for pick up at all DGG Offices such as the John Tetso Building, Victor Beyonnie Building, and Traditional Knowledge Building with the building receptionist or contact Nikki Tutcho – DGG Main Receptionist at (867) 589-8100 or by email receptionist@gov.deline.ca.

YELLOWKNIFE BENEFICIARIES: The Capital Payout Distribution Forms are available for pick up at the DGG Yellowknife office located at the North-Wright Hanger 2nd Floor at 111 McMillian Street Yellowknife, NT or contact Cynthia Modeste – Government Relations at (867) 766-4027 or by email government.relations@gov.deline.ca

OUTSIDE BENFICIARIES: For Beneficiaries outside of Délı̨nę and Yellowknife can access the forms on the DGG website at www.deline.ca or contact Nikki Tutcho – DGG Main Receptionist at (867) 589-8100 or by email receptionist@gov.deline.ca.

COMPLETED FORMS: all completed form MUST be emailed to capital.payout@gov.deline.ca or hand delivered to the receptionist located at the DGG office Buildings or DGG Yellowknife Office.
